I don’t know about you, but when I travel I NEED a bunch of outlets to charge all my devices.  Most hotels that have been remodeled in recent years have upgraded their plugs, but some hotels just don’t understand the modern traveler.  To ensure I have enough outlets for all my devices, I carry the Belkin SurgePlus 3-Outlet Mini Travel Swivel Charger Surge Protector with Dual USB Ports.

Why the Belkin SurgePlus 3-Outlet Mini Travel Swivel Charger?

There are many reasons why I chose this particular travel charger.

  • 900 Joule energy rating provides superior power protection for all your sensitive mobile devices
  • 2 powered USB ports (2.1 AMP combined) for charging your tablets, smartphones, and other mobile devices
  • Wall-mountable for 3 extra AC outlets without extra cords
  • 360-degree rotating plug with 4 locking positions for a compact, lightweight design
  • Damage-resistant housing protects circuits from fire, impact or rust, and prevents dents and scratches

How does it work?

What I like best about this travel charger is that it swivels when plugged in so that the 2nd wall plug isn’t blocked and you’re not stopped from using it should furniture, the wall, or anything else get it your way.

With several plugs and USB ports, the Belkin SurgePlus 3-Outlet Mini Travel Swivel Charger Surge Protector with Dual USB Ports provides plenty of power options on the road and at home.

The only thing I don’t like about the  Belkin SurgePlus 3-Outlet Mini Travel Swivel Charger Surge Protector with Dual USB Ports is that I broke the push-button which is supposed to allow you to swivel at specific intervals.  Now, with that piece broken, my charger is free to swivel 360* without a problem.

Conclusion

Even with that piece broken, this travel charger works great for me.  I would recommend it as a valuable piece of your travel arsenal.  The next time you’re at a hotel without many power options, you’ll thank me.
